About Arbus

The extraordinary territory of Arbus stretches 26,716 hectares along the south-western coast of Sardinia, coming down from Capo Frasca to Capo Pecora for a total of 47 km of coastline. It also includes the mountain range of Mount Arcuentu to the east and a part of the internal hilly area where one can find the charming mineral areas of Montevecchio, Ingurtosu and Gennamari which slope smoothly towards the sea. The territory of Arbus is characterised by the presence of hills and mountains that faces beautiful beaches. Arbus is situted at the bottom of these mountains and it overlooks all over its territory. It is an old village with several granite houses. An extraordinary example of Byzantine art is the local church.
